Space Shooter

Welcome to Space Shooter! This is a little game that I made for a Game Dev class that I'm currently taking, just like the last one! This time, though, you're flying through space. In this game, you become a pilot for a space ship as you navigate your way through an asteroid field filled with enemy ambushes! Just like the last game, there are two kinds of power-ups you can collect to get a boost. One of them gives you some extra health, and the other permanently gives your ship a 25% boost in speed (relative to your base speed).

The controls are simple. You use WASD to move the ship around and left click to fire rockets. In addition to that, you can press "Tab" to swap between two types of rocket launchers.

The level is roughly 50 seconds long, and your main goal is to just survive. Along the way, you can destroy enemies and asteroids for extra points, and you can see your points during the level, and they are mentioned explicitly at the end. Just like the last game, you can press "Escape" to exit the game. Unlike the last game, however, the game will now close itself whenever it ends (i.e. you win or lose). Another thing this game shares with my last one is lack of controller support, the only input method supported is keyboard and mouse.
