A downloadable game for Windows

Welcome to "Five Minutes Until Escape"! This is a little game that I made for a Game Dev class that I'm currently taking, except this time, it's for a game jam! This time around, you've crash landed on a hostile alien planet. In this game, you become the captain of a ship that has crash landed on an alien planet, and your one goal; survive for five minutes until help arrives. If you want, you can investigate the wreckage of the ship that you crashed in, you might find something useful there.

The controls are a little more complicated this time, as this is officially my first game to feature controller support! You use either WASD or left stick to move around. Using a mouse or right stick you can look around. You can jump with either spacebar or the A button on a controller (though this changes based on controller). Shooting your gun is achieved with the left mouse button or right trigger. Finally, you can exit the game at any time using either escape or the B button on a controller (this one also changes based on controller).

So, you've crash landed on an alien planet. Mission control is somewhat surprised that you are even alive. They have dispatched a drop pod to rescue you, but it's going to take five minutes to get there. In the mean time, you've got hostile aliens constantly attacking you. Can you survive and make it the drop pod, or will you succumb to the alien onslaught? Find out by playing the game!

This game is not only my first game to support controllers, but it's also my first game to feature a full, proper AI, and voice acting! Admittedly, the voice acting isn't the greatest, I am not a voice actor, after all. Though this time, there is no web build. I wanted to include one, but I couldn't get it to work.

One final thing, there is a known bug where using right trigger on a controller won't always fire the gun. I don't know what's causing it, but I do know that it exists.
